Working principle
Microwave drying utilizes the dielectric loss effect generated by the interaction between microwaves (electromagnetic waves with a frequency range typically of 300 MHz to 300 GHz) and materials. It causes polar molecules (such as water molecules) inside the materials to vibrate at high speeds, generating heat through friction, thereby achieving water evaporation and drying. Its core features are non-contact heating and selective heating-microwaves can penetrate the surface of materials and act directly on internal polar molecules, causing the material to heat uniformly from the inside out, avoiding the problem of "surface overheating and internal lag" in traditional heating.
